Re: John Stones
Haven't seen tonight, but he's been looking excellent so far this season - not £50m, but they've bought him for now and the future.

English player in being over priced and over rated shocker.

Re: John Stones
Laughably out his league against Barcelona. His incompetence was involved in every goal apart from the penalty.

We sold Tomkins for only 10m

Stones is like the Emperor's New Clothes. Don't believe your eyes...they lie. Just go with what you're told. He is the next footballing defensive messiah!

Re: John Stones
Has done ok in the PL in my opinion, found out a bit against real quality though.....

50 million was good business for Everton rather than Man City.

Re: John Stones Paint Trophy
His defending at the moment isn't great, but he's young and was up against potentially the best attacking unit ever in football.

Already proven that most players struggle to contain Messi, Suarez and Neymar, not to mention the midfield legends supplying the balls.

Re: John Stones Paint Trophy
He is young still, but he's 22 not 18. Last night would have been a massive wake up call for him, realising he still has a long way to go before he's as good as we keep being told he is. You can only talk about potential for so long, at some point he has to walk the walk. Still, I'm sure he will be outstanding again at the weekend.
